Derrick Gibson says he came to Washington to confront lawmakers and demand answers on COVID-era policies and what he calls failed leadership.
“We pushed back against the forced mandates… we have freedom. My body, my choice.”
Gibson, founder of Black Patriots for Trump, says he plans to take that message directly to members of Congress:
“We are dissatisfied with the mission they are pushing… We are the new Black leadership.”
On the ongoing hearings into COVID:
“Hopefully everything will come to the surface… the truth should come out.”
Gibson says this moment is about accountability and making voices heard on Capitol Hill as new hearings unfold.
