🚨 Senate Majority Leader John Thune on the SAVE Act: “The Issue Here Is the Democrats.”

When LindellTV’s @alisonintheknow asked @LeaderJohnThune whether he would support keeping the Senate in session through weekends and recesses to advance the SAVE Act, Thune said he would be willing to consider it if there were a realistic path to passage.

“If I thought there was a path to getting a positive outcome, I’d want to do just about anything.”

Thune said the legislation has already received multiple votes, but noted that no Senate Democrats have supported either the full bill or its individual provisions.

“The issue here is the Democrats… We ought to be going after them for opposing something that’s popular across this country.” #confront
