🚨 Thune Won’t Commit to Cancelling August Recess for the SAVE America Act.

LindellTV’s @AlisonSteinberg asked Senate @LeaderJohnThune whether the Senate would cancel its August recess after roughly a dozen Republican senators called on leadership to stay in Washington until the SAVE America Act is passed.

Thune’s response: “What is your picture of victory? What is the ending here?”

He’s open to reconciliation – but not convinced staying changes the math.

Thune said he’s “for anything that we can do to get the SAVE America Act passed,” but questioned whether remaining in session would actually produce the votes needed.
