His answers? Cycled talking points: “This is not a voter ID bill, period” – then straight to “purge the voters” – then “why is the right wing so angry we call it Jim Crow? Because they know it’s true.”
He didn’t fully answer a single one. 85% of Americans support voter ID. And if tens of MILLIONS would be REMOVED from voter rolls – who exactly is he protecting?
And how does calling this “Jim Crow 2.0” sit with the Americans who actually lived through Jim Crow?
