LindellTV’s @alisonintheknow pressed @RepJeffries on polling showing dissatisfaction with Democratic leadership and asked whether it signals the party’s base wants leadership to move further left.

Jeffries dismissed the concern and turned his focus to November:

“No, we’re focused on taking back control of the House and taking back control of the Senate.” He said Democrats must continue to “battle Republicans on every issue.”

“I’m not running a popularity contest. We’re trying to run through the finish line and take back control of the House of Representatives.”
