🚨 AOC & Paris Hilton push AI deepfake crackdown – but who’s monitoring AI itself?

At today’s press conference on the DEFIANCE Act, our reporter asked @RepAOC:

“With artificial intelligence rapidly advancing, are there any metrics in place to monitor the rapid development of AI that are included here in the DEFIANCE Act?”

@AOC responded:
“Well, the DEFIANCE Act itself does not include those metric measures, but there are tools that are rapidly developing… Those tools exist and they are rapidly expanding. The DEFIANCE Act will provide the important legal powers necessary in order to advance that.”
