SUPREME COURT HANDS TRUMP MAJOR WIN IN MAIL-IN VOTING FIGHT
The Supreme Court lifted a lower court injunction blocking key portions of @POTUS’s election integrity executive order.
The 6-3 decision allows the administration to move forward with parts of the policy involving citizenship verification and new requirements for mail-in ballots ahead of the November midterms.
But the fight isn’t over. A separate injunction still blocks USPS from enforcing the central mail-ballot restrictions, while California Gov. @GavinNewsom is already vowing another lawsuit.
With ballots set to begin going out in some states in early September, the clock is ticking to see whether Trump’s new rules can take effect before November 3.
