VOTING RIGHTS PROTESTER OPPOSES VOTER ID… BUT SUPPORTS PROOF OF CITIZENSHIP?!
At @TheRevAl’s voting rights march, LindellTV’s @CaraCastronuova asked a protester who warned of “voter intimidation” what she actually thinks should be required to vote.
Voter ID at the polls?
“I don’t think voter ID is necessary,” arguing it could “deter people from voting.”
But proof of citizenship when registering?
“I think it’s also important… I do think that’s important.”
So requiring an ID might suppress the vote, but requiring proof of citizenship to register is important?
Someone make that make sense…
