Book information:
Through the Lens of an Ancient Yisra’elite Bible Study invites readers to step into the cultural, linguistic, and social world of the Scriptures as they were originally heard and lived by the ancient Yisra’elite people. Rather than offering devotional commentary or modern theological speculation, the book approaches Scripture through a historically responsible lens—examining honor-shame values, communal ethics, covenantal thinking, and Hebraic idioms that shaped biblical understanding in the first-century world.
Written with clarity and accessibility, the study bridges academic insight and practical teaching without becoming overly technical. It challenges readers to reconsider familiar passages by setting them back into their original context, helping students, ministry leaders, and serious readers of Scripture gain a deeper, more grounded understanding of the biblical text as a lived way of life, not merely a religious system.
And this is the victory that has overcome the world our faith…
