Big media outlet scrubs article alleging connection between Mrs. Trump, Epstein
The Daily Beast removed an article from their site this week suggesting First Lady Melania Trump was linked to disgraced late financier Jeffrey Epstein

A story from a prominent media outlet was removed this week after First Lady Melania Trump’s lawyer contacted the company for the “headline and framing of the article.”
Left-leaning outlet The Daily Beast this week ran an article focused on what it seemed to frame as an alleged link between the First Lady and the disgraced late financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
“After this story was published, The Beast received a letter from First Lady Melania Trump’s attorney challenging the headline and framing of the article,” the outlet wrote in a following Editor’s Note. “After reviewing the matter, the Beast has taken down the article and apologizes for any confusion or misunderstanding.”
Although the story has been removed, the article apparently included details about claims made on a Daily Beast podcast, alleging that the First Lady was “very involved” with Epstein, according to the New York Post.
Trump ally and former 2024 presidential campaign advisor Chris LaCivita wrote on X, “This publication has a history of publishing defamatory lies and will be exposed even more soon enough[.]”
A reporter on the podcast reportedly claimed that Mrs. Trump was introduced to her future husband by a model agent linked to Epstein.
However, the First Lady in the past clearly recounted her first meeting with real estate titan Donald Trump in her memoir, “Melania.”
In the book, she said she met Trump at the Kit Kat Klub in New York, while attending a late-night party on a Saturday night with friends:
I saw my friend wave at someone behind me. When I turned around, I noticed a man and an attractive blonde woman approaching us.
“Hi. I’m Donald Trump,” the man said when he reached my table. “Nice to meet you.”
I recognized the name, and I knew he was a businessman or celebrity, but not much else. He put his hand out to shake mine.
“Hello,” I replied. “I’m Melania.”
His eyes filled with curiosity and interest, and, seizing the opportunity, he took the seat next to mine and started a conversation.
