Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani is recovering in a New Hampshire hospital after being seriously injured in a car accident Saturday night, August 30, on Interstate 93, near Manchester.
Authorities say Giuliani, 81, had just assisted a woman in a separate domestic violence incident when his rental SUV was rear-ended at high speed by another vehicle. State troopers witnessed the crash and provided immediate aid.
Doctors confirmed Giuliani suffered a fractured vertebra, multiple cuts and bruises, and injuries to his arm and leg. He is expected to remain hospitalized for several days before being fitted with a back brace.
New Hampshire State Police are investigating the crash, and at this time, no charges have been filed.
Giuliani is said to be in good spirits. Supporters across the country are sending well-wishes, with many calling him a fighter known for resilience in the face of hardship.
Beyond his long career as New York City’s mayor and later as an attorney and political figure, Giuliani today continues to engage with audiences through media. He hosts “The Rudy Giuliani Show” on LindellTV and also serves on the LindellTV Board of Directors, where he remains an active voice in current affairs and political commentary.
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Mike Lindell said, “We are praying for the greatest Mayor ever to have a fast and complete recovery!”
