President Donald Trump’s former White House Press Secretary, the energetic and rapid-fire Karoline Leavitt, has landed a new job as a Fox News contributor, following her late-August departure from the administration.
Leavitt will join the network as an on-air contributor, according to FOX News Media CEO Suzanne Scott.
“Karoline’s firsthand experience in the White House and on the presidential campaign trail gives her a distinct understanding of today’s political landscape,” Scott said in a statement on Monday. “We look forward to her providing our audience with authentic and sharp insight across all FOX News Media platforms.”
According to the outlet, Leavitt’s on-air contributions will begin November 1.
In a statement from Leavitt, shared by the network, she said she was “grateful for the opportunity” to join the Fox News Channel.
“I look forward to bringing my unique perspective from my experience as White House press secretary, along with the same energy and candor that defined my tenure, to Fox’s millions of viewers across their many platforms,” she said.
Leavitt became a well-known member of the president’s 2024 re-election campaign. As the spokesperson for MAGA Inc., she followed the president into the White House and became press secretary at just 27 years old, making her the youngest to ever take on the role.
Her departure from the administration came shortly after the birth of her second child.
“The truth is since returning to the White House after the birth of my daughter, I have felt in my heart that I cannot be the best mom my two young children deserve while devoting the constant time, energy, and attention required of the White House Press Secretary — and that is why I have ultimately made the bittersweet decision to depart the White House and embark on a new chapter in my life,” she said in August.
She has since remained in close contact with the White House. Leavitt even hosted the administration’s recent launch of America.gov, a new AI-powered government search tool bringing together federal agency websites and data.
