Hakeem Jeffries can’t tell the difference between CBS and LindellTV

House Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries sharply criticized CBS’s Evening News and its new anchor, Tony Dokoupil, for how the program covered the five-year anniversary of the January 6 Capitol attack.
Jeffries appeared on The Jim Acosta Show and said he was “confused” when he first saw a clip of Dokoupil’s report because it framed the events in a way he felt resembled conservative outlets rather than “traditional” (liberal) broadcast journalism.
In making his point, Jeffries quipped that the segment made him wonder whether he was watching LindellTV, Newsmax, or Fox News instead of CBS.
Hakeem Jeffries has repeatedly dodged questions from and insulted LindellTV reporters during press conferences, making his disdain for the network apparent. While we at LindellTV are flattered that he is thinking of us, it is indeed telling that even mild dissent earns his contempt.
It’s also fair to point out that much of the mainstream media’s coverage of January 6 has leaned heavily in a progressive direction, often framing the event through a purely partisan lens. Major outlets routinely emphasize Republican culpability while downplaying or ignoring inconsistencies, unanswered questions, and the broader context surrounding security failures and political tensions leading up to that day.
