Stansbury says releasing documents isn’t enough:

“I want to see the Epstein files turn into Epstein trials. I want to see people go to jail for being involved in the most significant sex trafficking ring probably in the history of the United States.”

On the question Republicans have repeatedly raised: Why didn’t Democrats push for the release of all the files while Biden was president?

Stansbury pointed to the prosecution of Ghislaine Maxwell before adding:

“I’m on the Oversight Committee, and so my role here is to conduct oversight. And so that’s what I’m doing.”
