Nearly 3,000 lives were lost in New York, over a million in Afghanistan and Iraq, and 6,000 U.S. troops in the War on Terror. But we also lost our civil liberties with the Patriot Act, @DHSgov, and NDAA.

He warned that the same loss of rights that began after 9/11 has now been weaponized against conservatives – especially January 6th defendants.

“They got one side to cheer for the other’s persecution. Then the pendulum swings and those same laws are used against us.”
