Nancy Pelosi freaks out when confronted again about January 6

Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi repeatedly refused to answer questions regarding Capitol security on January 6, 2021, reacting with anger when confronted outside the Capitol by LindellTV correspondent Alison Steinberg.

Video of the encounter shows Steinberg approaching Pelosi to question her about documented security breakdowns and prior statements regarding the National Guard. Steinberg pressed Pelosi directly on footage recorded by Pelosi’s daughter on January 6, in which Pelosi stated she took responsibility for the lack of preparation and troop presence. Steinberg also questioned Pelosi about former Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund’s accounts regarding delays and denials of National Guard assistance through House security officials.

Pelosi dismissed the inquiries without providing substantive answers.  

”You don’t know what you’re talking about! Get away from me!” Pelosi shouted before stepping into a waiting vehicle.

A staff member accompanying Pelosi attempted to brush off the confrontation, sarcastically telling Steinberg that asking the question “37 more times” might produce a response. Steinberg responded that she would continue pressing for answers.

The confrontation is another instance where Pelosi has lashed out when questioned on her leadership and decisions during the events of January 6. In previous interactions, Pelosi told Steinberg to “shut up” and attempted to dismiss questions regarding security responsibility as political talking points.
