President Trump calls for transparency from drug companies on Covid vaccine
Operation Warp Speed was a significant part of President Trump’s first-term response to the Covid pandemic, but some have questioned the effectiveness of the vaccines it produced

President Donald Trump on Monday called for transparency from the drug companies that championed the use of the fast-tracked mRNA Covid vaccine and made the president’s first term “Operation Warp Speed” possible.
“It is very important that the Drug Companies justify the success of their various Covid Drugs. Many people think they are a miracle that saved Millions of lives. Others disagree!” President Trump wrote on Truth Social.
This comes just one month after U.S Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. announced the cancellation of $500 million in federal contracts for mRNA vaccine projects, LindellTV reported.
The president continued, “With CDC being ripped apart over this question, I want the answer, and I want it NOW. I have been shown information from Pfizer, and others, that is extraordinary, but they never seem to show those results to the public. Why not???”
In Kennedy’s statement last month, he explained that mRNA vaccines “fail to protect effectively against upper respiratory infections like Covid and flu.”
He continued, “As the pandemic showed us, mRNA vaccines don’t perform well against viruses that infect the upper respiratory tract. Here’s the problem: mRNA only codes for a small part of the viral proteins, usually a single antigen. One mutation and the vaccine becomes ineffective. This dynamic drives a phenomenon called antigenic shift, meaning that the vaccine paradoxically encourages new mutations and can actually prolong pandemics as the virus constantly mutates to escape the protective effects of the vaccine.”
It has been widely reported that the Covid vaccines pushed by Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna can cause myocarditis. And although the science is less clear on whether these vaccines have been linked to health conditions like infertility, miscarriage, or blood clots, rumors have swirled regardless.
In 2024, JAMA Cardiology published a study noting a significant rise in heart failure deaths among young people, particularly between 2020 and 2021. This climb has led many Americans to speculate about a potential link between the Covid vaccinations and cardiac conditions, which has led to considerable public distrust of health organizations like the CDC and the NIH, whether the evidence suggests a link or not.
The president acknowledged the effect that these questions have had on America’s health agencies, noting public interest in whether drug companies have been up front about their data on vaccine effects.
“They show me GREAT numbers and results, but they don’t seem to be showing them to many others,” President Trump wrote.
He added, “I want them to show them NOW, to CDC and the public, and clear up this MESS, one way or the other!!! I hope OPERATION WARP SPEED was as ‘BRILLIANT’ as many say it was. If not, we all want to know about it, and why??? Thank you for your attention to this very important matter!”
