President Donald Trump has officially endorsed Mike Lindell in the race for governor of Minnesota, injecting new energy into the contested Minnesota race.
In a statement posted to Truth Social, President Trump offered high praise for the MyPillow founder, referring to him as “one of America’s greatest and most hard working Patriots.”
Trump heavily criticized the state’s current leadership, writing that Lindell is running to replace “one of the worst and most incompetent governors in the history of the U.S.A.” As early primary voting gets underway, President Trump expressed strong confidence in Lindell’s prospects, stating that “if given the chance, Mike will be SPECTACULAR!!!” Trump pointed to Lindell’s election integrity efforts, writing that “nobody has sacrificed more than Mike Lindell in fighting for our country, especially when it comes to Election Integrity.” The president concluded his post by giving Lindell his “COMPLETE AND TOTAL ENDORSEMENT” and wishing him luck.
Lindell addressed the high-profile endorsement during an appearance on the LindellTV program “My Mornings with Vanessa.” He highlighted the timing of the announcement as a strategic boost to his campaign momentum.”You couldn’t time this better with President Trump’s election announcement tomorrow night,” Lindell said during the broadcast.Lindell also indicated that the endorsement would force mainstream media outlets to give his gubernatorial bid closer attention.
”The media cannot hide me anymore, now they have to report on me,” Lindell said.
“This is a great day for me.” Lindell said he deliberately chose not to ask for Trump’s endorsement when he first announced his campaign.
“I wanted it to be based on merit and what I was doing with my campaign.”
