House Majority Leader @SteveScalise responds to our reporter’s question during a Capitol Hill gaggle about the future of the SAVE Act – now reintroduced as the SAVE America Act, which includes voter ID.

Scalise confirmed he is a co-sponsor of the bill and said he discussed it directly with @POTUS Trump in the Oval Office last week.

The bill is headed to the Senate, where Scalise says lawmakers must determine how to move it to the president’s desk.
