Rep. @Analilia_Mejia wants New Jersey’s Delaney Hall immigration detention facility shut down. LindellTV’s @alisonintheknow pressed her on what happens next:

“What happens to all of the detainees who already have these removal orders? Where do they go if Delaney Hall is shut down?”

Mejia did not directly answer, instead alleging dangerous conditions inside the facility and calling the treatment of detainees “unconscionable.”

“If someone’s here illegally, should they be allowed to stay in the country?”
