TED CRUZ DODGES WHEN ASKED ABOUT THUNE GETTING BOOED: “WE JUST HAD A TERRIFIC PRESS CONFERENCE ON COLLEGE SPORTS.”

When @alisonintheknow asked for @SenTedCruz’s reaction to @LeaderJohnThune being booed at the RNC Midterm Convention, Cruz pivots:

“I think we just had a terrific press conference on college sports.”

Then, asked when the SAVE America Act will actually get done:

“I certainly hope so, and I continue to fight for it.”

And has Cruz seen or spoken to @SenMcConnell during his months-long absence from the Senate?

“I have not.”

Alison follows up with one final question: “Do you think he’s still alive?”
