“The Voting Machines Are on Trial — Not Just Mike Lindell”
Today’s courtroom developments make it clear: while this is technically a defamation case, the real issue at the heart of the Coomer v. Lindell trial is election integrity — and for the first time, much of the evidence long kept out of court could finally be seen by the public.
Cybersecurity expert J. Alex Halderman is expected to testify. He famously hacked a voting machine in front of a judge in Georgia, proving how vulnerable these systems really are.
“This trial is going into the public record. That’s what makes it so important,” one commentator said.
Coomer’s attorneys are focusing heavily on emotional distress claims — but critics note much of their argument has little to do with Lindell directly, and more to do with criminalizing speech around election fraud.
Mike Lindell isn’t backing down. He’s standing firm on First Amendment grounds — and says this case could be a breakthrough in exposing the truth.
