President Donald Trump is not backing down from his claims that the 2020 presidential election was “rigged and stolen,” suggesting that this administration has “truckloads” of evidence that could prove that such cheating took place.
During a Christmas reception at the White House, the president delivered remarks, touching briefly on the 2020 presidential election, California’s election processes, and the broader issue with mail-in ballots.
“They’re professionals at cheating because we won in 2016 by a lot. The election was rigged in 2020. We have all the ammunition, all the stuff, and you’ll see it come out. It’s coming out in truckloads,” he commented, referring to Democrats.
“California’s election[s], New York, also, but California more than any other place is so rigged. It’s such a rigged election,” the president continued. “…If the vote in California was legitimate, which it’s not, they have 38 million ballots. Everything is mail-in voting. They mail out 38 million ballots, and they come in. Where the hell did they go, and where did they come from? It’s a rigged election in California, because we would WIN California by a lot.”
The president cited his popularity with Hispanic voters in other regions like the Texas border and Miami, earning a whopping 42 percent of nationwide Hispanic support in the 2024 presidential election, for example.
During a new Politico interview, President Trump also discussed the “rigged and stolen” 2020 presidential election, suggesting that the only reason the Ukraine-Russia war was sparked in 2022 was because he was blocked from winning reelection through alleged election cheating.
“There was a rigged election,” he told the outlet. “Now everyone knows it. It’s gonna come out over the next couple of months, too, loud and clear ’cause we have all the information and everything. But if the election wasn’t rigged and stolen…you wouldn’t even be talking about Ukraine right now.”
