White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said Monday morning that three nuclear sites struck by the U.S. military over the weekend have been “totally obliterated,” effectively wiping out the Iranian regime’s enriched uranium stores.
“We are confident, yes, that Iran’s nuclear sites were completely and totally obliterated, as the president said in his address to the nation on Saturday night, and we have a high degree of confidence that where those strikes took place is where Iran’s enriched uranium was stored,” she said on ABC.
Leavitt added, “The president wouldn’t have launched the strikes if we weren’t confident in that. So, this operation was a resounding success, and administration officials agree with that, as well as Israel.”
As previously reported on LindellTV, the strike utilized B-2 stealth bombers and Tomahawk missiles launched from offshore submarines. The operation was initially announced by President Trump on Truth Social on Saturday night after it had taken place.
Trump called it “very successful” and said the U.S. had struck Iranian nuclear sites Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan, touting American military supremacy in his statement. “There is not another military in the World that could have done this,” he wrote. “NOW IS THE TIME FOR PEACE!”
Leavitt said the operation “did make our homeland safer because it took away Iran’s ability to create a nuclear bomb.”
She continued, “This is a regime that threatens ‘death to America’ and ‘death to Israel’ and they no longer have the capability to build this weapon and threaten the world, so not just the United States that’s a safer place, but also, the entire globe.”
Leavitt’s statements on Monday reiterated the president’s messaging on Truth Social. On Sunday night, Trump emphasized the success of the operation and wrote, “Monumental Damage was done to all Nuclear sites in Iran, as shown by satellite images. Obliteration is an accurate term!”
He said the “biggest damage” was done underground by the famed U.S. bunker buster bombs. “Bullseye!!!” he remarked.
