9/11 widow calls out Saudi Arabia and multiple American presidents during unflinching remarks
Terry Strada, the surviving widow of a fallen 9/11 American, Tom Strada, called out Saudi Arabia for its alleged role in supporting the terrorist hijackers who destroyed the Twin Towers and murdered thousands of Americans.

A 9/11 widow speaking at a memorial ceremony on Friday in New York City honoring the 25th anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks of 2001 took world leaders to task for failing to hold Saudi Arabia accountable for past actions.
The widow, Terry Strada, spoke endearingly of her husband, Tom, who perished in the 9/11 attacks that terrible day. “You are missed more with each year that passes, but how can it be 25 years and still we have no justice for the role that Saudi Arabia played in your murder?” she said at the podium, speaking at the 9/11 Memorial & Museum.
She continued, “Yes, we finally made it into a court and have proved that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia fomented a rancid culture of anti-American terrorism around the globe and then sent its agents to support the radical Islamic hijackers so they could attack you and all of our loved ones.”
Former Presidents George W. Bush, Barack Obama, and Joe Biden attended the 9/11 ceremony on Friday.
Current Vice President J.D. Vance was also there. President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump did not attend the Ground Zero ceremony, but instead attended a ceremony at the Pentagon.
“For 25 years, administration after administration, including leaders in front of us here today, chose to protect the Saudis instead of standing with the 9/11 families,” Strada said. “They withheld evidence, they vetoed JASTA, they broke promises both public and private – it has been one betrayal after another. President Trump can still change that. Tell the Saudis to stop lying. Tell them that if they want to be friends with the USA they cannot continue to deny all of this, all of the pain, all of the destruction that we’ve all been suffering through.”
JASTA, or the “Justice Against Sponsors of Terrorism Act,” was vetoed by President Obama in 2016.
Strada thanked Vice President Vance for being at Ground Zero on Friday. She encouraged him to “please carry that message back – stand with the families, stand with the survivors, stand with Americans, as my husband Todd would have said, ‘That is always the right thing to do.’”
