Jasmine Crocket just can’t stop saying weird things about Greg Abbott

Texas Representative Jasmine Crockett is facing a new wave of backlash after a video appeared online showing her making disparaging remarks about Governor Greg Abbott’s physical disability.
The footage, which began circulating widely on X today, captures Crockett using strange language to characterize the governor’s condition. During the brief clip, the Dallas Democrat states that a tree made the governor DEI and asserts that he “ain’t abled”. These comments reference the 1984 accident where a falling oak tree paralyzed Abbott while he was jogging.
The reaction across social media was immediate and negative. Many have pointed to the bizarre nature of the comparison, questioning why Crockett would continue to focus on Abbot’s physical state.
Many online have increasingly described Crockett as a weirdo for her obsessive and mean-spirited fixation on Abbott’s wheelchair use.
This latest incident follows a documented history of similar rhetoric from the congresswoman. In 2025, Crockett faced a formal censure resolution after she referred to the governor as “Governor Hot Wheels” during a speech in Los Angeles. At that time, she claimed her words were intended to criticize his transportation policies regarding migrants.
