President Trump makes chilling threat to Iran
During remarks to the press on Thursday night, President Trump seemed to suggest that if the ceasefire with Iran fails, the U.S. could use weapons of mass destruction to stop them

President Donald Trump on Thursday discussed the ceasefire with Iran and had some harsh yet chilling words for the Middle Eastern regime following their attacks on three U.S. Destroyers in the Strait of Hormuz.
“Yeah, it is,” President Trump said, confirming that the ceasefire, while fragile, remains in place. “They trifled with us today. We blew em’ away.”
The president said that “you’re not going to have to know” if the ceasefire were to fail. Why? “You’re just gonna have to look at one big glow, coming out of Iran – and they’d better sign their agreement fast,” he said, presumably referring to the use of nuclear weapons.
Although the president did not explicitly say he was referring to nuclear weaponry, it’s not the first time he has threatened to annihilate Iran in such a visceral way – something only achievable through weapons of mass destruction, clearly.
In April, he warned, “A whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again. I don’t want that to happen, but it probably will.”
On Easter Sunday, President Trump demanded that Iran “Open the F**** Strait, you crazy bastards, or you’ll be living in Hell – JUST WATCH! Praise be to Allah.”
His latest allusion to weapons of mass destruction is the newest set of comments in a long string of extremely threatening messages to Iran as the war continues to drag on.
Before his comments to the press on Wednesday, President Trump had confirmed on Truth Social that Iran had attacked three Destroyers, although “no damage” was done to the vessels, per the president. He said that U.S. forces had returned fire and destroyed the Iranian aggressors.
“They were completely destroyed along with numerous small boats, which are being used to take the place of their fully decapitated Navy,” the president wrote. “These boats went to the bottom of the Sea, quickly and efficiently. Missiles were shot at our Destroyers, and were easily knocked down. Likewise, drones came, and were incinerated while in the air.”
The president has been clear about the negotiations with Iran amid a thin ceasefire: the Strait of Hormuz must reopen, and Iran must “never” have a nuclear weapon.
The Strait has proven to be the singular sticking point in the conflict with Iran, as there has been no success yet in securing it completely for commercial vessels.
As far as negotiations with Iran at the moment, President Trump told reporters that talks were “going very well.”
“They have to understand, if it doesn’t get signed, they’re going to have a lot of pain,” he said.
