Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani has been released from a New Hampshire hospital following a car accident over the weekend. His associates confirmed Tuesday that he is recovering and has returned home to continue his rehabilitation.
Giuliani, 81, was hospitalized after being injured in a crash on Interstate 93. Doctors treated him for multiple injuries, including a fractured vertebra. His medical team determined he was stable enough to be discharged earlier today.
In a statement, Giuliani’s office thanked first responders and hospital staff for their care and support during his stay. The statement emphasized that he is expected to make a full recovery.
Giuliani announced that he will return to hosting his program, The Rudy Giuliani Show, tonight on LindellTV. The program will air at its regular evening time and marks his first public appearance since the accident.
Viewers can expect Giuliani to resume his familiar role as host, covering current events and political issues. His return comes just days after the crash that temporarily sidelined him from his broadcasting duties.
