Thank you, President Trump, for a meaningful Christmas message for America
President Donald Trump’s willingness to acknowledge the reason for the season is a refreshing and wonderful departure from the Biden administration

This week, President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump officially lit up the nation’s Christmas tree in front of the White House, delivering a dose of much-needed holiday spirit across America, less than one year into his second term.
Like so many other things, President Trump’s wholesome approach to the Christmas season is a stark contrast to the previous administration.
Where hardcore leftist administrations have shied away from the Christian roots of the holiday, President Trump has always readily embraced them.
“During this holy season, Christians everywhere rejoice at the miracle [in] Bethlehem more than 2,000 years ago, when the Son of God, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, came down from heaven to be with us,” President Trump said in his remarks.
He added, “Full of grace and truth, He brought the gift of God’s love into the world and the promise of salvation for every person and every nation.”
The president also paid homage to the Gospel of John, citing John 1:4: “In Him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind.”
“With the birth of Jesus, human history turned from night to day,” President Trump remarked. “His word and His example call us to love one another, to serve one another, and to honor the sacred truth that every child is specially made in the image of God.”
Such pointedly spiritual words from the president are needed in the United States, especially in the face of an uncertain world. And, although President Trump and his administration have settled eight wars so far, he says he is hoping to end a ninth war soon: the war between Russia and Ukraine.
“We’re making peace all over the world,” the president noted. “We’re settling wars at levels that nobody’s ever seen before.”
President Trump’s work to establish peace is admirable, especially within the domestic U.S., in his pursuit of elevating law and order.
“We have so much to be thankful for,” he said. “Our border is secured, our spirit is restored.”
President Trump also thanked the nation’s first responders, police officers, ICE agents, Border Patrol agents, and more for their critical work in protecting the innocent and bringing justice to evildoers.
“This Christmas season, let me say thank you to those who serve the needy and lift up the communities, inspired by faith,” he remarked.
“As we prepare to celebrate the miracle of Christmas, we thank God for his many blessings, and together we rejoice at the true source of greatness, happiness, and strength,” the president continued.
He reflected on the “glorious night 2,000 years ago” when Jesus was born in a Bethlehem stable and laid to rest in a manger. “I want to wish everybody a very merry Christmas and a Happy New Year,” the president concluded.
With President Trump back in the White House, it is a very merry Christmas indeed.
