The X-Report: Is the government starting to brief religious leaders on disclosure?

Evangelist Perry Stone has sparked intense discussion across social media following his claims that the United States government recently held a private briefing for a large group of religious leaders. According to Stone, the meeting was designed to prepare clergy for a forthcoming public announcement regarding extraterrestrial life and non-human technology.
In a video shared widely on X, Stone asserts that government officials met with pastors to discuss a planned release of information concerning unidentified flying objects. He says the briefings included descriptions of craft that do not originate from Earth. Stone also mentions that the officials spoke of reptilian creatures, telling the assembled leaders that they must prepare their congregations for what is about to be revealed.
The pastor indicates that the government views the religious community as a primary resource for managing the potential cultural and spiritual shock that such a disclosure might cause. This report comes at a time when public interest in unidentified anomalous phenomena has reached a historic peak.
These claims coincide with a series of high-profile government actions regarding transparency. Earlier this spring, President Trump issued an executive order directing federal agencies to identify and declassify records related to extraterrestrial life. This was followed by the White House registering the official domain for a new website at aliens.gov, which is expected to serve as a public clearinghouse for declassified UAP data.
The administration has indicated that the American people deserve clarity on these decades old mysteries. Vice President JD Vance has also contributed to the conversation by framing the phenomenon through a theological lens. In recent interviews, Vance suggested that some sightings may represent spiritual entities or demons, a perspective that could align with the government’s efforts to engage religious institutions in the disclosure process.
Perhaps what seems most interesting in Stone’s statement was his talk of “reptilian creatures”. We’ve all heard the classic conspiracy theory of reptilian beings infiltrating the highest levels of our government and society, but most people have just brushed that off as a crackpot theory.
Is there any truth to Perry Stone’s claims? I’m not entirely sure. I don’t think it is wise to just brush it off out of hand just because it sounds “weird”, but I think we ought to approach this carefully. There is obviously a large contingent of folks who run around screaming about “science” and how nothing can happen that transcends the natural realm. They love to run around bragging about their latest “debunking” of purported strange phenomena. I’m not advocating for that type of nails on a chalkboard skepticism, but instead, a level-headed assessment of all the relevant data.
We live in a world where there is more beyond what we can simply see with our eyes. I want to believe that there is something more going on out there, but it would be foolish to pretend that we are immune to trickery.
