Trump touts incoming billions for America thanks to $5 million ‘Trump Card’
The president introduced the gold ‘Trump Card’ earlier this year as a way for wealthy immigrants to achieve U.S. legal residency

President Trump this week touted the coveted $5 million “Trump Card” that allows wealthy foreigners to achieve U.S. legal residency, noting that the sales of the card will bring in $75 billion to help balance the federal budget.
“More than fifteen thousand have signed up and joined the Waiting List since we opened the site last night!” he wrote on Truth Social.
Earlier this year, the president announced the “Trump Card” option for affluent immigrants who wish to achieve residency, essentially giving these individuals a green card option with a bit of golden pizazz.
On Truth Social, the president continued, “That’s $75 Billion Dollars to help balance our Budget, and strengthen America. The opportunity to live in the Greatest Country, THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, with the largest Economy in the World, is here. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity. THE WAITING LIST IS NOW OPEN.”
The “Trump Card’s” new website is a simple landing page with an application inviting immigrants to join the waiting list to come to America. The site includes an image of “The Trump Card,” a gold card with President Trump’s image, along with the Statue of Liberty and a signature from the Commander-in-Chief.
Applicants are invited to simply enter their name, their country of origin, and their email to join the waiting list. The eight regions included as options in the drop-down box are:
- Europe,
- Asia (including Middle East),
- North America,
- Oceania,
- Central America,
- South America,
- Caribbean,
- Africa.
This expedited pathway to U.S. residency seems to directly address prolonged waiting times for those seeking a green card to enter the United States. According to the Cato Institute, it is typically a three-year wait to achieve residency, with an additional 15 months waiting period tacked on since 2016.
This week, U.S. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick added to the president’s initial announcement of the $75 billion purported haul for federal coffers, telling Fox Business that there have been a whopping 25,000 sign-ups for the “Trump Card” since the website launched so far, amounting to $125 billion to pay down the national debt.
“Come into America,” Lutnick said. “…We all live in America, we take it for granted. Let me tell ya, the rest of the world, they want to come. They really want to come.”
