Tim Walz calls ICE “thugs”; where is the outrage?

Governor Tim Walz recently chose to label federal immigration officers as “untrained, aggressive thugs.” This rhetoric demands a serious examination of who actually poses a threat to our communities, and especially to the people of Minnesota.
The true danger stems from violent criminals exploiting a fractured justice system and a porous border. Lenient sentencing by liberal judges continually places dangerous individuals back onto the streets to reoffend.
This systemic failure is severely compounded by the unchecked influx of illegal immigrants committing horrific acts across the nation. We have seen the devastating consequences in cases like the brutal murder of nursing student Laken Riley by Jose Ibarra. Authorities also arrested illegal immigrants Johan Jose Rangel Martinez and Franklin Jose Pena Ramos for the heinous assault and murder of twelve-year-old Jocelyn Nungaray.
These senseless tragedies reveal a governor whose priorities are completely backwards. Walz expends his political energy vilifying the law enforcement personnel tasked with maintaining basic public order. He completely ignores the actual predators harming innocent citizens within our communities. His administrative record further demonstrates a profound disregard for the overall well-being of Minnesota. Under his direct supervision, untold amounts of taxpayer money vanished into massive financial schemes like the Feeding Our Future scandal.
This massive theft of vital public funds occurred while his state agencies simply looked the other way. He allowed rampant corruption to drain public resources without facing any real accountability. He has repeatedly demonstrated that he does not genuinely care about protecting the people of Minnesota. There is absolutely no logical reason for anyone to believe he has the state’s best interests at heart.
Tim Walz has no business labeling ICE as aggressive or untrained when they are the only ones who have removed the actual aggressive thugs from the state of Minnesota.
