Report: MyPillow targeted in FBI’s “Arctic Frost” probe
Report | By Easton Martin | September 17, 2025
In a further uncovering of the political weaponization of government agencies under the Biden administration, Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa), has published files which expose an FBI probe titled “Arctic Frost”. This probe targeted almost 100 republican and GOP aligned groups and people, including MyPillow and its bank.
The investigation included the FBI, DOJ, OIG, USPS, and the National Archives and Records Administration. This sweeping probe, following the pattern of political weaponization of federal agencies under the Biden administration, sought to investigate claims of fraud and “false lawsuits” relating to the 2020 election. Records indicate that there were over 400 subpoenas served, as well as dozens of search warrants executed on mobile devices and accounts.
In his letter to the Attorney General and FBI Director, Grassley revealed that the investigation, which was launched in April 2022, was spearheaded by FBI agents who had previously been accused of political bias. According to whistleblower disclosures, these agents used taxpayer dollars to travel across the country to conduct interviews and serve warrants. It is worth noting that the FBI team spent thousands of dollars in just a few days to conduct over 40 interviews and serve numerous search warrants.
The unclassified FBI records further reveal the staggering scope of Operation Arctic Frost. Beyond the widely reported targets, the investigation also included a number of Republican-linked organizations, such as the Republican National Committee and the Republican Attorneys General Association. According to Grassley, this confirms that the probe was not just about a specific case but was instead a “vehicle” for partisan agents to improperly investigate a wide swath of the Republican political apparatus, raising serious questions about the role of federal law enforcement in political matters.
