The Laura Loomer and Candace Owens feud has reached a new low
By Easton Martin | April 21, 2026
The public feud between Laura Loomer and Candace Owens has seemingly reached a state of absolute hostility. This argument has evolved from a series of professional disagreements into a campaign of total condemnation.
Laura Loomer recently published a statement on X attacking Owens, explicitly stating that God hates her. Loomer used the severed relationship between Owens and the Kirk family as proof of this divine judgment. She told Owens to look in a mirror and accept that she is hated.
The post ended with the claim that Owens is an irredeemable person. This statement in and of itself is plain evil, and it represents a profound theological error. It is a violation of the truth of scripture and reeks of spiritual pride. It attempts to use God as a weapon for a personal grudge. One does not have to agree with Candace Owens in any way to recognize how disgusting this statement was. Indeed, I think Candace Owens is probably mentally ill in some regard. That being said, to say that she is hated by God and by everyone is just a disgusting thing to say.
The declaration that any person is irredeemable is a rejection of grace. God’s grace is available to Laura Loomer and Candace Owens alike. God does not hate Candace Owens, but God does hate sin. He hates it in all contexts, including this gross misrepresentation of the character of God.
